It took me a long time to fall in love with our cold winters here in Southeastern Ontario. I used to wait out the winter months, spending the season yearning for warmer weather. I only started enjoying winter after forcing myself to get outside, embrace the cold, and try some new activities.

Lately, I’ve been exploring the smaller trails in Ottawa’s Greenbelt. Beaver and Chipmunk trails are two of my favourites. Combined this trail section is known as Trail 28 and it’s a great place to spot birds and other wildlife.
