I’ve been wanting to build a lean-to shelter for years. When the opportunity finally came around, I was excited to try it out. Here’s how I did it, what materials I used, and what I’d do differently.

It took me a long time to fall in love with our cold winters here in Southeastern Ontario. I used to wait out the winter months, spending the season yearning for warmer weather. I only started enjoying winter after forcing myself to get outside, embrace the cold, and try some new activities.
